The scalable graphics and visualization research and the construction of the Interactive Room has been supported by the Department of Energy under the Data and Visualization Corridors program.

Equipment and software donations have been provided by EFI (E-beam trackers), IBM (server machines), InFocus (projectors), Intel (server machines), Microsoft (PDA's and software), and ParaGraph (handwriting recognition software).

HCI research has been supported by  IBM and Philips.

Software infrastructure research has been supported by a grant from the Stanford Networking Research Center (SNRC), NSF and SGF Fellowships, Hewlett-Packard Company, a grant from the Wallenberg Global Learning Network (WGLN), Sony Electronics, and other sources.

Interactive Workspaces is part of a collaboration with the iSpaces (Interactive Spaces) collaborative effort, which includes Stanford Computer Science, SCIL (Stanford Center for Innovation in Learning), and KTH - Swedish Royal Institute of Technology.

If you or your company would like to support the Interactive Workspaces Project through a donation of equipment, services, software, or funding to support graduate students or faculty, send email to one of the Principal Investigators.  In addition to first-tier brainshare, research supporters can participate in our annual Project Retreats and other internal functions not normally open to the public.
